With the announcement of Phases – an upcoming Angel Olsen demo compilation – comes a sneak preview release of ‘Special’, an unheard out-take from her third studio album My Woman.
Measuring in at a solid seven and a half minutes, this is Olsen at her best, all slurred and sultry atop her burning rock.
Phases will be released via Jagjaguwar on 10th November.

Fazerdaze (aka Amelia Murray) is back with new track ‘Bedroom Talks’ and it’s as sweet as it sounds. The New Zealander released her debut album Morningside, earlier this year via Flying Nun and her melodic indie-pop has been melting our hearts ever since.
The video for ‘Bedroom Talks’ was filmed on an iPhone during a recent trip to New York City and edited by Murray herself. “It was nice to shoot in a space where everybody else was also awkwardly standing in front of a camera as well,” she explains. “We filmed it on Mark’s iPhone4 until the battery ran flat and then we caught the subway home.”
Fazerdaze’s UK mini tour starts in London on October 4th and ends in Manchester on the 7th. She’ll be returning to Brighton on the 6th to play a show at Sticky Mike’s Frog Bar too. These shows will be the perfect warm-up for her huge worldwide tour, which will keep her busy until mid-November. Grab your tickets to see her here, and listen to ‘Bedroom Talks’ below.
